Contact
Tell us what is happening.
Delta Tax Group can be reached by phone, by email, or through the confidential consultation form on this page. The first conversation is about understanding your situation — what notices you have received, what has been filed and what deadlines may apply. You will not be asked for payment information on that call, and nothing you send commits you to anything.
If a levy or garnishment is already active, or a notice deadline is within the next two weeks, call rather than using the form. Those situations are decided by days.
Ways to reach us
Three ways in, depending on what you need.
Use the one that fits. Urgent collection activity goes by phone. General questions can go by email. Please do not email anything containing personal or financial detail — we will share a secure way to send documents once you engage us.
Call us
Fastest route, and the right one if a levy, garnishment or notice deadline is active.

For general questions and anything that is not time-critical. Please do not attach documents containing personal data.

After you get in touch
What happens next, in order.
No part of this commits you to anything, and no fee is discussed until there is something concrete to quote against.
We reach out
Someone contacts you at the number or email you provided. If your situation is urgent, say so in the form and it moves up the queue.
We listen first
A conversation about what has happened: the notices, roughly what is owed, which years may be unfiled, whether collection has started. Nothing requires your records to be in order.
You get a straight read
What the immediate concern appears to be, what information is needed to evaluate it properly, and which resolution paths are likely to be available — including when the answer is that you do not need us.
Confidential consultation
Send us the short version.
Two short steps. The first asks only what we need to understand the problem; the second is how to reach you. You are not committing to anything by sending it.
- We will explain what the immediate concern appears to be.
- We will tell you what information is needed to evaluate it properly.
- We will outline the resolution paths that may be available, and the ones that are not.
- If you do not need representation, we will say so.
Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, card numbers or copies of documents in this form. Sensitive information is collected later through the secure portal.
Prefer to talk? Call (747) 666-1561 instead — it is the faster route when something is already in motion.
Useful, not required
Helpful to have, if you have it.
None of this is needed to make the first contact. If you have it to hand, the first conversation goes further; if you do not, we can establish most of it from your account records once you authorize us.
Do not delay getting in touch because you are missing paperwork. Missing records are one of the most common situations we deal with and one of the most fixable.
- Any notices you have received — particularly the CP or LT code in the corner and the date on the letter.
- A rough idea of the balance — an estimate is fine. Transcripts confirm the real figure.
- Which years may be unfiled — again, approximate is enough to start.
- Whether collection is active — a garnishment, a bank levy or a filed lien changes what happens first.
- Federal, state or both — they run on different rules and different timelines.
Security
How to know a call is really from us — or really from the IRS.
People with tax debt are targeted by impersonation scams more than almost any other group, because the pressure is already there to exploit. These are the things neither we nor the IRS will ever do.
- Demand payment by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency. No legitimate firm and no government agency collects this way, ever.
- Threaten arrest, deportation or licence revocation on a phone call. The IRS does not open contact that way, and neither do we.
- Ask for your full Social Security number or bank login by email or text. Sensitive material goes through the secure portal, never an inbox.
- Insist you decide today or lose an offer. Nothing about a tax resolution improves because you agreed to it within the hour.
- Refuse to name the credential of the person who would represent you. You are entitled to know, and to verify it with the issuing body.
If you are unsure whether a call was genuinely from us, hang up and call the number published on this page. Suspected IRS impersonation can be reported to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at tigta.gov.
Office and coverage
Where we are, and who we can help.
Delta Tax Group works with clients remotely across the United States on eligible federal tax matters. Authority to practise before the IRS is granted federally, so your location does not limit federal representation. State tax matters follow each state's own rules.
You do not need to live near us, and most clients never visit. The process runs on authorized access to your IRS account records, secure document exchange and scheduled calls — which means the quality of representation does not depend on your postcode.

Before you send it
Questions about getting in touch.
Is the first conversation really confidential?
Yes. What you tell us is treated as confidential and is not shared outside the people working on your matter. One important distinction: confidentiality is not the same as attorney-client privilege. Delta Tax Group is a tax-resolution company, not a law firm, so privilege does not attach. If your situation involves potential criminal exposure, that difference matters and you should speak to a tax attorney.
Will contacting you stop the IRS?
No. A call or a form submission has no legal effect on your account. Collection is affected only by specific actions taken with the taxing authority — filing an authorization, requesting a hold while a resolution is evaluated, submitting a request that suspends collection while pending, or obtaining a levy release. We would rather you know that than assume you are protected while a deadline runs.
Will I be pressured or put on a sales call?
You will not be asked for payment information during a consultation, and you will not be told an offer expires today. The purpose of the first call is to understand the problem and tell you what it would take to evaluate properly. Sometimes that ends with us saying you do not need representation.
What if I am not ready to hire anyone?
That is a perfectly reasonable place to be, and it is worth getting in touch anyway if a deadline is involved. You can also work through this yourself: the resources page decodes IRS notice codes and defines the terminology, and the IRS publishes its programs and forms at no cost.
Can I send my documents by email?
Please do not. Email is not a secure channel for tax records, financial statements or anything carrying a Social Security number. Once you engage us, documents are exchanged through a secure portal. Before then, describe the situation in words rather than attaching paperwork.
How quickly will someone respond?
We reach out as soon as we can after your request comes in. If a levy or garnishment is active or a deadline is close, call rather than using the form — urgent matters move up the queue, and the phone is the fastest way to flag one.
These answers are general information, not tax or legal advice for your situation. Please do your own research to verify the accuracy of content on our website.
One conversation is enough to know where you stand.
Confidential, with no obligation and no payment information requested. If your situation is urgent, calling is faster than the form.
